Lunch Visit With Lisa ... on Her Birthday

Today my friend Lisa came by to visit and drop off a shower gift for Charlotte and I. Lisa was not able to attend my baby shower because her own son, Oliver, was just released from the hospital after being born six weeks early. Anyway, today is also Lisa’s Birthday and she not only spent the afternoon at my kitchen table she brought ME lunch! Lisa is a fantastically generous person and we had a great time catching up! I have included a picture of the two of them, as usual Charlotte’s cute expression is wiped away by the surprise of the camera flash! Charlotte is wearing and adorable onesie with purple flowers and adorable flower buttons - THANK YOU "Aunt" Lauren (Nagle).

Visit with the Chambers Family

Tonight we visited with Wayne’ brother, Tony, sister-in-law Elena and our newest nephew, Reid. They met us along with Wayne’s mom, sister, sisters’ boyfriend cousin and second cousin for dinner. Kelvin, Gwen’s boyfriend, was performing at the restaurant so we got to enjoy that too! Wayne and I were especially excited to meet Reid and see the babies together. He was so adorable – just smiled and laughed for his mommy. We were very impressed with how alert he was and all the things he was doing. It was so great to see everyone but I feel bad because we were in a sleep-less fog, at least I was.

Two Month Doctors Appointment

Charlotte had her two month appointment yesterday, which means shots - God I cried SO much! Wayne was so strong, he was able to hold her down even when she started screaming. The doctor says she looks great. Poor thing got one oral vaccination and five immunization shots! That seems like a lot for one little baby. She is in the 75% percentile for most things and weighs a whopping 12lbs now. Other than a fever from the immunizations and thus crankiness, she is doing great.

Head Circumference: 15 1/2 Inches (75th Percentile)

Charlotte is on the verge of a smile any day now and we can't wait.

Two Month Birthday

Today Charlotte is two months old! I can't beleive how quickly the time wet by or how much she has changed!

BabyLegs

I found these adorable baby leggings in a magazine and knew Charlotte HAD to have them. She is just too cute for words with her little toes sticking out. We now have about four pair and the really do work for her since her waist is so small and pants just fall off her. Plus diaper changes are much more efficient too!

The Real Charlotte

Thought I would include this picture we took of Charlotte tonight. This adorable onesie (thanks again "Aunt" Liz) and her crying allowed for the perfect photo opportunity. This is the real Charlotte - she may be sweet and adorable most of the time - but sometimes, she is like this too! We love her either way but this picture is gonna be the wallpaper for my laptop!

Welcome Liam Phillip Eddy

Today my friend Lauren (Ward) Eddy gave birth to her first child...Liam Phillip Eddy. Congratulations Matt and Lauren, we are so happy for you! Just wish they were a lot closer so I could give that baby a kiss today!
